Brett is an experienced Financial Adviser who specialises in Wealth Creation, Risk Protection and Retirement Planning strategies.
Brett began his career in Financial Services in 2004 as a Paraplanner, which has given him in depth knowledge of financial planning principles and the steps needed to quickly and effectively implement his recommendations. Brett firmly believes that a strong client-adviser relationship is the key to devising a financial plan that suits the client’s objectives and ensures they achieve their goals.
Brett is a father of two children and is a passionate Crows fan. After completing a Bachelor in Computer and Information Science at the University of South Australia Brett decided a career in IT wasn’t for him and began looking at other career paths. While working in retail he began studying a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment with FINSIA and soon after was offered a paraplanning role within a small financial planning practice.
After only a relatively short period in the industry Brett was approached by the current Directors of Finance and Insurance Brokers Australia to establish an in-house financial planning arm that could provide advice to their extensive client base, and with that, FIA Financial Planning was born.

“Behavioural management is the most important thing that I can offer as an Adviser. In most cases it’s not the performance of the product that determines the client’s outcomes but their ability to stick to their long-term plan through the good times and the bad.”
